Description

Sticky Honey Chicken is a mouthwatering dish that combines sweet and savory flavors in a quick, easy recipe perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds (optional)

Instructions

  1. Gather and prepare your ingredients by chopping green onions and mincing garlic and ginger.
  2. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Add chicken thighs and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken (discard excess marinade) and cook until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes per side.
  4. Once cooked through (internal temperature reaches 165°F), pour remaining marinade into the skillet. Let it bubble until thickened, approximately 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Plate the sticky honey chicken with the thickened sauce drizzled over it. Top with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
