- 12 oz ziti pasta
- 4 cups baby spinach
- 15 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
- 3 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil salted water in a large pot and cook ziti until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, sauté minced garlic in olive oil until fragrant. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with half of the mozzarella, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Combine cooked ziti with marinara sauce and sautéed spinach-garlic mixture.
- Layer half of the ziti mixture in a baking dish, dollop with ricotta mixture, top with remaining ziti, then sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
