  • 12 oz ziti pasta
  • 4 cups baby spinach
  • 15 oz whole milk ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil salted water in a large pot and cook ziti until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, sauté minced garlic in olive oil until fragrant. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  4. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with half of the mozzarella, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  5. Combine cooked ziti with marinara sauce and sautéed spinach-garlic mixture.
  6. Layer half of the ziti mixture in a baking dish, dollop with ricotta mixture, top with remaining ziti, then sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
