Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak, sliced
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp blackening seasoning
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Prepare a large pot of salted water and bring it to a boil.
  2. Season the steak and shrimp with blackening seasoning.
  3. Cook fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente (about 8-10 minutes). Drain and set aside.
  4. In a skillet, melt butter over medium-high heat. Sear shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink; remove from the pan.
  5. In the same skillet, sear the steak slices for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare; let rest before slicing.
  6. Lower heat, add heavy cream to the skillet, and scrape up any browned bits. Stir in Parmesan until melted.
  7. Combine cooked pasta with the sauce, then add shrimp and steak slices. Mix well and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan and fresh parsley.
