  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • ½ cup cold butter, cubed
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ¼ tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, toss pitted cherries with half the sugar and set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix flour, oats, remaining sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Press half of the crumble mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  6. Spread cherries evenly over the crumble layer and top with remaining crumble mixture.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and bubbly. Let cool before slicing.
