  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the fettuccine according to package directions until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper, then sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from skillet and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium; melt butter and add minced garlic, stirring until fragrant (about 1 minute).
  4. Slice the rested steak against the grain into bite-sized pieces. Add cooked pasta and sliced steak to the skillet, tossing gently to coat in the garlic butter.
  5. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over the pasta and toss again until melted. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
