  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (1.5 lbs)
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a bowl or zip-top bag, combine the chicken breasts with olive oil, soy sauce, garlic powder, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. While the chicken marinates, wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets. Toss with a little olive oil and salt.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (375°F).
  4. Grill the marinated chicken for about 6-7 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  5. Add the broccoli to the grill during the last 5 minutes of cooking until tender but crisp.
  6. Serve hot on its own or over rice.
