  • 4 bone-in pork chops (1-inch thick)
  • 1/3 cup pure honey
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice (about 2 oranges)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground ginger
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together honey, orange juice, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  2. Marinate pork chops in half of the mixture for at least 30 minutes in the fridge.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat; sear marinated pork chops until golden brown on each side.
  4. Remove chops and mix cornstarch with a splash of water; add to remaining marinade in the skillet. Cook until thickened.
  5. Return pork chops to skillet and coat with glaze; cook until internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).
