  • 1/2 cup whole milk

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
  • 1 tbsp milk (for glaze)
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped fresh strawberries (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a mini donut pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, mix melted butter, egg, milk, sour cream, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Gently fold the wet ingredients into the dry until no flour streaks remain.
  5. Fill each donut cavity halfway with the batter.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before removing from the pan.
  7. For the glaze, mix powdered sugar with milk and vanilla until smooth.
  8. Dip each warm donut into the glaze and top with chopped strawberries; allow to set on a wire rack.
