  • 12 large pasta shells
  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside to cool.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant. Add the shrimp and cook until pink and opaque.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine chopped shrimp, cream cheese, half of the Parmesan, parsley, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper; mix until creamy.
  5. Fill each pasta shell with the shrimp mixture and place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Top with remaining Parmesan cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes until bubbly.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving; garnish with extra parsley if desired.
