  • 1 cup button mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch piece ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 2 green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. Prep your veggies: Wash and cut broccoli into bite-sized florets; slice mushrooms evenly.
  2. Sauté garlic and ginger: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add broccoli and mushrooms: Toss in the broccoli and mushrooms, stir-frying for about 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp.
  4. Pour in soy sauce: Drizzle soy sauce over the vegetables and mix well to coat evenly; allow to cook for another minute.
  5. Finish with sesame oil: Add red pepper flakes if desired, then drizzle with sesame oil before removing from heat.
  6. Serve and enjoy: Transfer to plates or bowls and garnish with chopped green onions.
