- 3 jalapeños, halved

Instructions
- Cut the pork shoulder into large chunks. Season with salt, cumin, and minced garlic.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork until browned on all sides.
- Transfer the pork to a slow cooker; add remaining garlic and cover with ½ cup water or broth. Cook on low for 8 hours until tender.
- Shred the cooked pork with two forks.
- Broil halved jalapeños on a baking sheet until charred (about 5-7 minutes).
- Warm tortillas in a skillet; fill each with shredded carnitas, top with roasted jalapeño slices and avocado. Drizzle lime juice and garnish with cilantro before serving.
