  • 2 lbs baby back pork ribs
  • 1 cup 100% pomegranate juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Remove the silver skin from the ribs and pat them dry. Season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together pomegranate juice, honey, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, and cumin until smooth.
  4. Brush half of the glaze over the ribs and cover tightly with foil.
  5. Bake for 2.5 hours until tender.
  6. Increase oven temperature to 400°F (200°C), uncover the ribs, brush on remaining glaze, and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until caramelized.
  7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
