Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter and brown sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, followed by pumpkin puree and vanilla extract.
- Gently fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined. If using, fold in nuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown and a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
