- 20 gyoza wrappers
- 4 oz ramen noodles
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium)
- 2 green onions (sliced)
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp ginger (minced)
- 1 tbsp miso paste (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the gyoza filling by mixing minced chicken thighs, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a bowl until well combined.
- Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of each gyoza wrapper. Moisten edges with water and fold to seal.
- Heat vegetable oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Fry gyoza until golden brown on one side (about 3-4 minutes). Add water to half-cover them, cover immediately to steam.
- In another pot, simmer chicken broth with garlic and ginger. Stir in soy sauce and miso paste if using for about 10 minutes.
- Cook ramen noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and add to the broth.
- In serving bowls, place cooked ramen noodles first, ladle hot broth over them, then top with fried chicken pieces and steamed gyoza. Garnish with sliced green onions.
