Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp light brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, ginger, garlic, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
  2. Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour marinade over them; let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375°F or 190°C).
  4. Grill salmon skin-side down for 6-8 minutes without flipping.
