  • 2 lbs Russet potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup sharp Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Gruyère cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, freshly grated
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, whisk together heavy cream, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the sliced potatoes. Pour half of the cream mixture over them and sprinkle with half of each cheese.
  4. Repeat the layering process with the remaining potato slices and cream mixture. Top with more cheese.
  5. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
