  • 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened

  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • ½ cup cocoa powder
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy (about 3 minutes). Add eggs one at a time and mix in milk until smooth.

  5. Divide batter between prepared pans and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool cakes for about 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
  7. While cooling, whip powdered sugar and remaining peanut butter until smooth for frosting.
